Grace Loves Lace is an industry leader in modern bridal, specialising in effortless, luxurious and timelessly sophisticated wedding gowns and shipping to over 80 countries worldwide. This is a crucial Full Time leadership role overseeing our Dispatch team and operations based from our Production Studio in Burleigh Heads!
In this role you will ultimately oversee the management of timely deliveries, ensuring that orders, showroom samples, and all dispatches leave our care precisely on schedule and up to our highest company standards. The Dispatch department is the crescendo in our customer’s journey to receiving their order, and your meticulous attention to every detail within this role will contribute to our harmonious finale.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all activities and the team within the Dispatch area
  • Manage and plan workflow capacity and efficiency
  • Authorise and plan staff rosters to always ensure adequate cover for workload.
  • Preparation and packing of the order ready for shipping, including packing boxes and materials, to ensure safe shipment of all products.
  • Generate Packing lists, Security Declarations, Commercial Invoices and Dispatch Checklists which are clear and concise
  • Prep and plan orders for wholesale distribution
  • Co-ordinate and prepare Transfer Orders for product launches to showrooms and marketing companies, reporting on their delivery and receipt to destination customers and showrooms.
  • Negotiating with freight companies to ensure that the most efficient and cost-effective service is being provided
  • Liaise with freight companies to ensure all orders are collected on time
  • Update customer files with all the relevant documents for that job including parcel tracking details
  • With the help of the database, generate the appropriate documentation for online sales
  • Prepare and produce consignments with local and international courier companies
  • Monitor and control all stock in the dispatch area and liaise with the Head of Procurement & Logistics to replenish stock of packing material including boxes, tape, shrink wrap and stationery and ad hoc duties.
  • Identify and suggest improvements on existing methodsAd hoc duties as required by management
