POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dispatcher/ Counter Sales Associate. The Dispatcher/ Counter Sales Associate coordinates the application of chemicals and fertilizer while dispatching trucks. The dispatcher will also help with inventory control through close contact with the location manager, warehouse personnel, and agronomists.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • English Proficiency.
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator.
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
  • Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts.
  • Strong customer service and organization skills required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in agriculture
  • Knowledge of trucks, application equipment, and DOT regulations.
  • Previous logistics experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Placing product orders, ensuring inventory levels of ag products and chemicals are at desired level, ensuring products are loaded and/or delivered after customer order is placed.
  • Providing clear directions and maps to applicators and truck drivers, working closely with agronomists and custom applicators to ensure equipment is dispatched to customers.
  • Leveraging knowledge of crop protection products and fertilizer to help customers make informed decisions, coordinating soil sampling, consulting with sales agronomists as needed.
  • Interacting regularly with customers, peers, and management to provide exceptional customer service, pursue continuous improvement of facility operations, and promote a teamwork focused environment.
  • Adheres to all safety regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations, the vehicle policy and fleet safety program and DOT regulations.
