ABOUT MACKLEY CARRIERS

With bases in New Zealand’s two key transport hubs of Auckland and Christchurch, we have the resources and experience to carry out all transport & logistics requirements asked of us by our customers.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Role models a “Safety First” approach by ensuring you understand and adhere to the Mackley policies and values and participate in Toolbox Meetings and Safety conversations
  • Despatch loads to trucks and Manage fleet out of the Penrose office.
  • Manage incoming enquiries and allocate the correct resources.
  • Assist the Manager with planning staff leave and organise cover between all divisions.
  • Ensure all vehicles are compliant and certified at all times.
  • Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Responsible for acting as a liaison between customers and drivers. Assist with complaints, order errors, account questions, cancellations and other queries.
  • Update and maintain dispatch systems such as Go-Freight, ICOS and R

Responsibilities:

An exciting opportunity has emerged for someone to join our growing team as a Dispatcher based out of Penrose, Auckland. Previous dispatch experience is preferred; however, if you have a great attitude and a desire to pursue a career in Transport and logistics, we can help you to succeed.
