Required Skills & Experience
- Good standard of English and Maths (Minimum GCSE Level 4 / grade C or equivalent)
- Forklift licences from an affiliated body (e.g. Jungheinrich, Mentor)
- Good IT skills
- Good communication, influencing and team working skills.
- Can think problems through in a logical and analytical manner.
- Self-driven, proactive, with a continuous-improvement mindset.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production demands.
- Hands-on attitude and willingness to learn new skills

- Working within a distribution centre.
- Experience of using a Warehouse Management System (ideally Microsoft Dynamic 365).

Responsibilities:
The operator is involved in the general day to day running of the distribution centre on a shift pattern based on business needs, this includes:
- Forklift truck operation – counterbalance, reach truck & VNA.
- Loading & unloading of vehicles
- Picking & processing customer sales orders.
- Maintaining supply to production
- Goods receiving of inbound deliveries, including control of pharmaceutical materials
- Continuous use of WMS
- Maintaining a high level of compliance
- Maintaining a high level of safety
- Support production and other areas to ensure priorities are understood and maintained
