You’re a passionate advocate for safety, and understand how to design and maintain standards while working effectively to ensure the reliable operation of the electric distribution system. Your top-notch strategic thinking skills help you to identify and prioritize risks as you build out maintenance strategies, and you’re always analyzing processes and to find opportunities to streamline your work. We want someone like you to join as our Distribution Lines Engineer. In year 1, you will:
Build relationships within the Distribution Engineering team as well as the Operations and Design group through project involvement and site visits.
Gain an understanding of the standards, design criteria and materials associated with the distribution construction and maintenance.
Gain an understanding of the project management system and how projects are run within the organization. Participate in the execution of the capital plan.
Take on responsibility for large initiatives lead by the engineers within this group and get a better understanding of the grid modernization and innovation we are working towards.
