JOB DESCRIPTION
The Global Enterprise Operations team is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to oversee and optimize our distribution sales programs within our Video Security and Access Control business in North America. The Distribution Program Manager - Video will be responsible but not limited to the following:
- Implement and manage distribution programs and strategic plans based not only on historical data but on industry trends and customer buying patterns.
- Develop, implement, and manage distribution strategies to ensure timely and efficient delivery of programs to our customers
- Monitor program effectiveness, working alongside Finance and Data teams to prepare monthly reports and partner performance metrics and improvements.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of distribution programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Support field sales staff by clearly communicating intricacies of our partner programs, including resolution of transactional issues as needed.
- Support field sales in managing relationships with distribution partners to ensure alignment with program objectives and standards.
- Continuous development of relationships with priority customer stakeholders, understanding key business issues, and recommending ways to deliver value.
- Collaborate closely with internal groups such as Marketing, Legal, Finance, and IT to deliver best-in-class distributor programs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of appropriate tools and training programs to support the distribution business growth.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in a channel management role is preferred
- 5+ years experience in business or the wholesale distribution industry preferred
- Strong understanding of the video surveillance & access control market preferred
- Comfortable driving change management and agile business processes
- Strong knowledge of the wholesale distribution industry and serve as the first point of contact between Sales leaders and Channel Operations
- Experience developing and driving integrated growth programs across all sub-categories, using data mining and other tools to target appropriate customer segments.
- Knowledge of financial analysis methods and techniques
- Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and practices
- Ability to leverage resources effectively and make quality fact-based decisions using appropriate information
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers
- Ability to travel by air and car approximately 25% within North America
