This is an opportunity for you to manage a cohesive and collaborative business service team based in Auckland Central.
Responsibilities:
MŌ TĒNEI TŪRANGA – ABOUT THE ROLE:
The District Business Services Coordinator Team Leader is responsible for the smooth management and delivery of the administration function in the district. Reporting to the District Manager this is a great opportunity for professional development. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:
- Leading, supporting, and developing the District Business Services team to ensure that a well-functioning and cohesive team delivers on its required deliverables to the highest standard.
- Providing day to day administration support for Career, Volunteer, District leadership and community Risk Management.
- Working alongside National Communications and Regions to support districts with communications to social media, blogs, newsletters, and notices.
- Coordinating events, travel and accommodation for meetings, Simulated Exercises (SIMEX), award ceremonies and milestone events as needed.
- Maintaining relationships with stakeholders, national headquarters, volunteers, and regional staff.
- Contributing to financial management, analysis and report to Districts when required.
This role offers on-site car parking in Auckland CBD with flexible working arrangements.
KO TĀU NĀ I TĒNEI TŪRANGA - WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:
Providing overall administrative support for the district you will ensure compliance with policies, procedures, processes, and problem solving where appropriate.
You’ll be authentic, self-motivated, highly focused, and able to multi-task. You’ll need to be a savvy, quick thinker with demonstrated ability to convey information and ideas clearly. Sometimes you will need to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in, therefore a “can-do” attitude will ensure your success.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, WE’D EXPECT YOU WILL:
- Demonstrate the ability to lead team members and manage workloads
- Experienced in Accounts Receivable and Payable
- Have previous administration and Project Coordination experience
- Demonstrate high level of attention to detail and time management skills
- Have excellent computer literacy skills within the Microsoft Suite
- Have an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
