Dive Technician / Electrician

As a Commercial Dive System Technician you are required to have a strong understanding of mechanical and technical equipment and be qualified and certified as such. You shall be responsible for ensuring that all equipment associated with commercial diving activities are in working order.
Your key responsibilities shall include:
Inspecting Equipment: Thoroughly inspecting dive equipment regularly to ensure that it is safe for divers to use. This could include diving suits, helmets, breathing apparatuses, and underwater tools.
Maintaining and Repairing Equipment: If any problems are detected during these inspections, you shall be responsible for carrying out necessary repairs or maintenance. They may also perform routine maintenance work as a preventative measure.
Testing Equipment: After any maintenance or repair work, the equipment will usually need to be tested to confirm it’s working properly. You shall be responsible for this.
Record Keeping: You will need to keep detailed records of all inspections, maintenance work, and tests carried out. This will help ensure the company complies with any relevant health and safety regulations and can also be useful for troubleshooting future problems.

1. Conduct repair and maintenance of commercial diving equipment as per manufacturers
2. recommendations.
3. Conduct periodic testing of commercial diving equipment to industry and manufacturer regulations.
4. Maintain a Planned Maintenance System for all equipment.
5. Carry out cleaning and maintenance of life support diving equipment.
6. Carry out air purity testing of all breathing gases.
7. Re-calibrate diving equipment pressure gauges.
8. Carry out periodic inspections and preventative maintenance measures.
9. Support commercial diving operations by assisting with mobilizations of air diving equipment.
10. Assist warehouse manager in ensuring accurate tasks execution.

12. Look after the work shop and stores area and maintain a hazard free work environment.
13. Support commercial diving operations by assisting with mobilizations of air diving & ROV equipment.
14. Carry out the proper filing of all records, maintaining, and safekeeping.
15. Comply with the Company quality standards & procedures.
16. Follow strictly to Company Safety Rules & Regulations at all times.
17. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by warehouse manager.
