My Dublin based client is recruiting for a Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Partner to join the team on a permanent basis working on a hybrid model.
My Dublin based client is recruiting for a Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion (DEI) Partner to join the team on a permanent basis working on a hybrid model. The Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion (DEI) Partner will be responsible for the positive development on the existing EDI framework and you will lead and enhance the initiatives for Equality, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (EDIB) within the organization. This role involves strategizing, implementing, and evaluating EDIB efforts to ensure an inclusive work environment and compliance with relevant legislation in Ireland and the UK.

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategy and Implementation
  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to develop and implement the EDIB strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Program Design and Management: Design, manage, facilitate, and evaluate EDIB learning and education programs covering inclusive language and behavior, mentoring, cultural awareness, and inclusive recruitment practices.
  • Communication and Engagement
  • Communication Planning: Collaborate with the Communications team to craft and execute a communication plan targeting both internal and external stakeholders to promote EDIB initiatives.
  • Senior Leadership Engagement: Engage with and influence senior leadership to champion EDIB initiatives and integrate them into corporate culture.
  • Support and Development
  • Employee Resource Groups (ERGs): Support existing ERGs and help establish new ones to meet diverse employee needs and interests.
  • Policy Development: Contribute to the review and development of policies and processes across the full employee lifecycle to ensure they are inclusive and address a broad spectrum of diversity needs.
  • Measurement and Evaluation
  • Metrics and KPIs: Identify and utilize relevant metrics and KPIs to measure the impact of EDIB initiatives, focusing on outcomes such as changes in the Gender Pay Gap, Irish Centre for Diversity accreditations, and employee feedback.

Experience Required

  • At least 3 years in a role with direct responsibility for EDIB within a corporate setting.
  • Deep understanding of EDIB principles and related legislation in Ireland and the UK.
  • Proven ability to work with and influence senior leadership on EDIB matters.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing effective EDIB programs.
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills are essential.

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • At least 3 years in a role with direct responsibility for EDIB within a corporate setting.

Educational Requirements

  • Completed a relevant 3rd level qualification (e.g. HR, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Management).
