Description:
Drinks United is a collaboration between the WSTA (Wine & Spirit Trade Association), The Drinks Trust and WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) in response to the safeguarding and equity issues identified for those working in drinks industry. Its purpose is to create an inclusive and equitable UK drinks industry, where everyone feels welcome, safe and supported.
We are offering a unique opportunity to join Drinks United as a part-time Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Project Manager on a 12 month fixed-term contract to help us to improve the experience for individuals in the drinks industry. We are looking for a highly motivated professional with the ability to define and drive forward initiatives that will champion and foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive industry. You will coordinate DEI programs, scope and drive strategic initiatives, and collaborate with various stakeholders to embed DEI and safeguarding principles. A collaborative, influential and discreet self-starter who is passionate and knowledgeable about DEI, you will have strong project management and networking skills as well as a high level of cultural competence and emotional intelligence. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Knowledge of DEI best practices and frameworks, ideally with an accreditation or qualification in the field
- Research skills
- Strong organisation and documentation skills including use of Google docs
- Planning and project management experience
- A knowledge of drinks industry and related network would be beneficial
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Hybrid remote - Performed as a mixture of in-office and remote work.
Able to attend meetings and meet organisations in London most weeks
