Description:

We are inviting applications for a Divisional Administrative Assistant in the School of Health Sciences to work in the Division of Informatics, Imaging and Data Sciences based on the main University campus.
The primary aim of this role is to provide comprehensive and proactive administrative support for divisional staff and activities undertaken in the School.
This is a wide-ranging role and will require considerable flexibility and the ability to prioritise tasks, in order to deliver a wide range of administration. The post holders role will be to ensure effective and professional liaison and communication with PS staff, academic staff, students and internal external suppliers, to facilitate the smooth running of day-to-day activities. You will be a key administrative point of contact within the division and will ensure questions, issues and concerns are dealt with effectively. You will provide high quality administrative support to a number of senior academic staff including diary management and arranging travel.
You will have good organisational skills and be able to prioritise work in a busy environment to meet deadlines; have good communication skills and be flexible and responsive to customer needs; be able to identify problems and resolve issues effectively; demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail; and have good computer skills, including proficient in Microsoft software.
The post holder will be assigned to the Division of Informatics, Imaging and Data Sciences, but may be required to support other areas, from time to time, across the School. There will be a considerable need to respond to change in the foreseeable future and the post holder will actively work to support senior managers in achieving this objective.
