Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly motivated senior operational manager to join our leadership team in the role of Divisional Manager for Women’s Health services at UCLH. The division houses a full range of women’s health services encompassing Gynaecology, Breast, Maternity Services, Neonatal Services and Reproductive Medicine Unit (RMU) with a vision to enable “Better lives for women and babies across the world. The division has services located in Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Wing (EGA), UCLH Tower, and MacMillan Cancer Centre and works closely with the world-renowned Institute for Women’s Health at UCL, bringing together clinical strength of UCLH with research expertise of UCL.
The Divisional Manager, reporting to the Medical Director, is a key senior leader within Specialist Hospitals Board, with accountability for delivery of services and providing strategic and operational leadership to over 900 staff with a budget of c£100million.

This is an exciting time for Women’s Health services with opportunities to further develop several of our services including driving forwards our performance against access targets, delivering enhancements to our tertiary specialist services, including maternity and neonates, to provide enhanced patient care and harnessing opportunities to deliver commercial benefits for the organisation. The postholder will also have opportunities to work collaboratively across trusts as part of North Central London ICS and Community providers in order to deliver and embed sustainable changes which benefit patients and staff.
