This full-time, seasonal role is anticipated to start approximately June 15th, 2024, and end around September 15th, 2024, subject to change based on location and seasonal demands.

Nestled in a tranquil cove within Espinosa Inlet, a gateway to the Pacific entrance of Esperanza Inlet, Newton Cove Resort stands as a hidden jewel in the heart of the wilderness. Offering an elevated experience, our upscale floating resort provides a seamless connection to the thrill of British Columbia’s premier salmon and halibut fishing grounds, beckoning to those with an adventurous spirit.

REQUIREMENTS OF A DOCKHAND:

  • Passion for hospitality and fishing.

  • PCOC – Pleasure Craft Operators certificate.

  • Food Safe Level 1.

Responsibilities:

  • Wash windows and pressure wash docks.

  • Oversee all waste and recycling management.

  • Water flowers, and keep dock areas looking pristine.
  • Greet guests, secure boats, assist in fish processing.
  • Collect, wash, and store items from incoming boats.
