The Department of Accounting, Finance & Insurance is looking for highly motivated candidates, interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in Business Economics at KU Leuven.

Project
The financial world is going through a deep digital transformation. This PhD project will address emerging challenges and opportunities brought to financial services by recent information-based technological developments.
Profiel
To enter the doctoral program immediately, students must have successfully completed a master’s degree in (applied) economics, econometrics, finance or business engineering by September 2024.
Successful candidates should have excellent qualifications at bachelor and master level.
The candidate should have a high level of proficiency in English sufficient to communicate effectively with colleagues.
Aanbod
We offer an employment as full-time PhD researcher or Pre-doctoral researcher for 1 year (starting October 1st 2024 or earlier), renewable after positive evaluation. You will be enrolled in the PhD Program of KU Leuven and you will work as a doctoral student in a stimulating work environment with a high degree of flexibility and autonomy.
