Job Title: Document Controller
Location: Perth based
Length of Contract: Initial 12 months contract (view to go permanent)
Hours: 8 hour days
Roster: Monday to Friday
Pay Rate / Level: 2+ years Doc Control experience
Responsibilities:
- An exciting opportunity exists for a self-motivated and experienced Document Controller to join the Major Projects team, based in our client’s Perth office.
- We are seeking a self-motivated team member with excellent communication skills who can prioritise work according to business drivers and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- The role involves robust participation and interaction with Study Managers, Project Managers, Lead Package Engineers, Contracts and Procurement team, Service Providers, Vendors and Stakeholders in order to;
- Properly control Company and project related documentation.
- Follow and improve document control procedures applied to all project phases.
- Ensure incoming and outgoing documentation meets formal requirements and required standards.
- Maintain efficient information management through systematic sorting, storing and retrieving electronic and hard copy documents on behalf of the company
- Produce regular and ad hoc reports to various stakeholders
- Attend and conduct regular information management reviews with stakeholders and document audits
- Timely release of shared documents to project stakeholders to support and facilitate project targets and completion and maintain confidentiality around sensitive documentation
- Reporting directly to the Manager Project Delivery Services and is assigned to project teams for study development and/or project delivery of major capital projects.
