Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum five years (5) of industry experience in IT infrastructure architecture development and technology consulting, advisory, or professional services.
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Senior or Lead Architect or equivalent experience.
  • Must have at least 7 years of experience designing, deploying, and implementing LAN/WAN networks in accordance with industry best practices
  • Extensive large-scale WAN experience required
  • Extensive campus networking experience required
  • Highly skilled in consulting with customers at all levels of the organization in both pre and post-sales
  • Highly Skilled in at least one (1) of the following with more being preferred: SD-WAN (Cisco Viptela, Cisco Meraki, VMware Velocloud, Aruba/Silverpeak Edgeconnect, Fortinet, Versa)
  • Implementation experience with Cisco DNA Center and Software Defined Access
  • Experience integrating SD-WAN into SASE/SSE and cloud deployments (Umbrella SIG, Zscaler, Prisma)
  • Strong knowledge of IP communication and routing is required (ISIS, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
  • Experience with Hybrid Cloud network deployments including AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus
  • Working technical knowledge of network and security protocols (IPSEC VPN, SGT, SSL VPN, AAA, Dot1x, TustSec, NAT, QoS etc) is a plus
  • Knowledge of core Fortinet solutions, including Fortigate (NGFW and SDWAN), Fortimanager, and Fortianalyzer is a plus
  • Knowledge of Palo Alto security products (Next Generation Firewalls, Panorama, Prisma) is a plus.
  • Configuration management of networking devices using PnP/ZTP, automation tools (Cisco DNA-Center, vManage, Cisco Prime, ISE) and API scripting with Python is a plus
  • Experience with network automation using Ansible, Terraform or other orchestration tools
  • Certifications in industry leading network products: Cisco (CCIE, CCNP), Arista, Aruba, VmWare, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, Zscaler, AWS, GCP, Azure
  • Multi-vendor experience is required
  • Cisco partner post sales consulting experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
  • Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
  • Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities:

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Your primary objective is to support Infrastructure Services by maintaining a high level of technical expertise in Advanced Cisco Routing and Switching and SD-WAN, supporting delivery teams and engineers in the deployment of Services, and serving as an escalation point for delivery engineers. You will also be responsible for assisting with the introduction of new services, including the development and documentation of deployment methodologies, and working with delivery teams to develop those capabilities in the field.

SOLUTIONS / TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP ROLE:

  • The Domain Architect understands all client scopes and objectives. They will be the one solution / technical voice facing the client externally and the escalation point internally for WWT employees, Partners, and Contractors.
  • The Domain Architect will partner with the PMO counterpart to resolve Risks and Issues upon identification.
  • The Domain Architect is accountable for resolving technical Risks and Issues in their project using their background and the array of resources available within WWT.
  • The Domain Architect holds staff, contractors, and partners responsible for ensuring that The WWT best practices and templates are followed and delivered to the customer.
  • The Domain Architect will review deployment documents, technical assessments, and other technical outputs to ensure a correct and consistent tone is delivered as defined by “One Voice.”
  • The Domain Architect will manage their respective project as if it were their own stand-alone business and deliver a service that matches WWTs expectations, focusing on profitability and professionalism.
