We are now looking for a Donor Engagement Coordinator
Your role
The Donor Engagement Coordinator works in Aalto’s Donor Engagement team and plays a critical role in supporting the team’s efforts to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors and prospects. In 2024–2026 the job focuses on Aalto’s upcoming fundraising campaign. You will be responsible for organizing and executing fundraising events, supporting donor recognition and providing administrative support to the team, including managing the database of donors and prospects, preparing regular reports, updating the website and managing correspondence. You and the Donor Engagement team are also closely connected to Aalto’s corporate collaborations, alumni relations, career design, and innovation services.
Your experience and ambitions
It is an advantage if you have experience from higher education fundraising or a related field in philanthropy and value the significance of stakeholder relations, as well as the meaning of social media and digital solutions for fundraising. Your approach is agile and solution oriented, and your way of working aligns with our values of responsibility, courage, and collaboration. We expect a university degree and an ability to work in a community of academics and professionals. The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills in Finnish and in English, all other languages are an asset.

This position is permanent, and the salary range is 3700–4000€ per month, following the university’s pay scale and based on your previous experience in relation to the role. We work in a hybrid way, and our primary workplace is in Otaniemi, Espoo. Life at the transformed campus is vibrant and filled with amazing architecture, calming nature, and a variety of cafés, restaurants, services and good connections along the metro and tram lines.
