We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Door Installers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in construction and installation, particularly in the installation of doors for residential and commercial projects. As a Door Installer at New City Contracting, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the security, accessibility, and aesthetics of our construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Install doors according to project specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and industry best practices
• Measure and prepare door openings for installation, ensuring proper fit and alignment
• Remove old doors and hardware and prepare openings for new installations, including framing and sealing as needed
• Install door frames, hinges, handles, and hardware using appropriate fasteners and installation techniques
• Adjust doors as needed to ensure smooth operation and proper sealing
• Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades to coordinate door installation activities and meet project deadlines
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and installation equipment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Door Installer or similar construction and installation work
• Knowledge of door products, installation techniques, and industry standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, design drawings, and technical specifications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision and accuracy
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
• Commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations and procedures
