  Minnesota Millwork & Fixture is the industry leader with over 30 years of experience serving the hospitality, restaurant, entertainment, and retail sectors. MMF has been named Vendor of the Year for 2 national restaurant chains in 2019 and 2023! We manufacture commercial casework, millwork, tables, bar tops, and upholstered seating. We design and build custom products for restaurants, banks, clinics, and hotels.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Knowledge of cabinet construction and basic woodworking skills a plus!
• Ability to read architectural drawings and prints.
• Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Dedicated, well organized, able to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
• TradeSoft is a plus but not required
• Ability to work on-site in Lonsdale, MN

• Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed shop approval drawings for various fixtures including wall displays, bar tops, cabinets, trim, etc.
• Preparation of material orders (BOM) as required.
• Adhere to industry and company CAD standards, have a growth mindset to share best practices.
• Organize and maintain AutoCAD files, collaborate with team members on organizational methods for team consistency.
• Source materials as requested
• Interact with account managers, designers, architects, and other customer agents as required to complete design and drawing work.
• Participate with fellow drafters in the CAD reviewal process.
• Perform field measurements or site visits meeting with customers as needed.
• Work closely with production staff to update drawings based on their recommendations surrounding build methodology.
