Megatel Homes, LLC is currently looking for a Drafter to support our fast-paced, large volume, residential production building. The right candidate will be a positive and enthusiastic team player with great communication skills, reliability, and the ability to multitask.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Produce and revise the architectural plans, lot fits, plot plans, and sales brochures needed for new home construction. This is a full-time position (Monday - Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm) at the corporate office in Uptown Dallas (this is not a remote position).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Highly skilled in AutoCAD software.
• Ability to understand, modify and create a full set of residential construction documents.
• Must be extremely detail-oriented.
• Must be able to multitask with several projects working at any given time.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Basic knowledge of residential codes (IRC).

EXPERIENCE

• Understanding of residential architecture
• 2-4 years residential experience preferred
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
