JR52672 DRAM Product Engineer - component level array testing (m/f/d)

POSITION

As a Product Engineer at Micron, you will be part of a forward-thinking team of engineers that solves complex problems, responsible for enabling Micron’s products with flawless and issue free release to both internal and external customers. Product Engineers are the key interface between Research and Development, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Quality Assurance departments.

To support our growing DRAM business in Munich we are looking for a DRAM product engineers for the following tasks:

  • Prepare for new DRAM products and coordinate resources, testing, and analysis over the life-cycle of the product.
  • Verify the functionality of the DRAM array for new chip designs by performing measurements on component with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and bench testers.
  • Extract manufacturing parametric data and interpret it using appropriate statistical methods.
  • Analyze the root cause of fail mechanisms.
  • Define, develop, document, and validate test patterns to enable high volume manufacturing and continuous quality improvement.
  • Perform full chip simulations of the test patterns.
  • Apply analysis results to drive yield enhancement, product cost and device performance using suitable algorithms.
  • Provide ideas for new DFT (Design for Test) and circuit architectures to support enhanced test capability.
  • Coordinate activities with Design, Test, Application, Process and Quality Departments (located in Munich, Asia and US).

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic required skills are:

  • University master’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or computer science, with excellent grades.
  • Strong background in semiconductor physics, digital and analog electronics
  • Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
  • Proactive and independent way or working
  • Fluent English skills

Desired skills are:

  • Programming skills in one or more common languages (Python and/or C++ preferred)
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis methods or tools
  • DOE (Design of Experiments)
  • Basic UNIX commands knowledge
