The Role
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Draughtsman with expertise in Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) and Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) detailing work. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience utilizing software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhino for precise and accurate drafting in architectural and construction projects. Responsibilities: • Prepare GRC panels production drawings by extracting the panels /fixing details from approved shop drawing layouts, elevations & sections. • Prepare GRC shop drawings from the IFC drawings by understanding & highlighting GRC scope. • Prepare fixing details based on provided hand sketch / concept detail by senior designer. • Provide BOQ for GRC / GRP items based on provided IFC / Tender drawings. • 3D CAD modeling will be an added advantage.
Requirements
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Architecture, Engineering, or related field. • Proven experience (5 years) working as a Draughtsman, with a focus on GRC and GRP detailing. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhino software, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in architectural drafting (2D drawings / 3D models- Shop drawings & Production drawings). • In-depth knowledge of GRC and GRP materials, manufacturing processes, and construction techniques. • Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards relevant to GRC and GRP applications. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. • Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time and within budget. • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude towards addressing technical challenges in drafting processes.
