  • Minimum two (2) years related experience or combination of formal training/experience. Vocation or Military training a plus.
  • Familiar with proper use/operation of various hand an power tools
  • Basic mechanical knowledge
  • Minor fabrication and welding experience
  • Basic electrical knowledge required - Low Voltage, DC to 120 A

Responsibilities:

Working under direction from Plant Engineer, the Maintenance tech will performs a wide variety of preventative maintenance and repair to heat treat furnace equipment, Chemical Processing Line, Paint Curing Ovens and all aspects of the facility. Assists with equipment installation.

Essential Driver Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Safely Drive a ¾ Ton Pick-up Truck, pulling a 20’ Enclosed Trailer
  • Maintain truck and trailer like it was your own
  • Maintains Trip mileage log, performs routine safety inspections, fuel vehicle.
  • Regular maintenance to keep truck and trailer up to date.
  • Oil, Air and filter changes, Brakes, Tires.
  • Truck and Trailer Wash Exterior/Interior
  • Provide excellent customer service and relations
  • Load and unload customers parts to and from our business and our customers businesses
  • Ensure all parts are properly secured during transportation, so no damage is encountered during travel to and from customers
  • Ensure proper paperwork and certifications accompanies each part
  • Ensure quantities match paperwork provided by customer
  • Attendance and accountability will be a critical component for this position

Essential Maintenance Tech Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform daily furnace, and curing oven, and paint booth inspections
  • Performs ordinary maintenance of furnaces, ovens, compressors and other equipment.
  • Performs general building repairs and maintenance
  • Help to strengthen and develop a robust maintenance program and schedule
  • Installation, preventative and repair maintenance to both equipment and facility
  • Reports damaged, worn or broken parts
  • Use of 5S methods to keep work area and shop neat, clean and efficiently organized
  • Strict adherence to safety procedures
  • Attendance is a critical component of position: punctual, regular and predictable
  • Ability to assist with emergencies related to equipment outages or breakdowns outside of normal working hours
