The Economic Services Administration, Division of Child Support is currently seeking an Office Assistant 3 to join our team in the Headquarters-Central Services office located in Olympia. This is a full-time position requiring an in-office presence with an opportunity for part-time telework after training is completed, generally within 4-6 months.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, image and categorize payment and document batches; deposit, disburse and reconcile negotiables using computer applications and imaging systems
- Research files, documents, and other sources to obtain or clarify information
- Operate Rapid Extraction opening and sorting equipment accurately and efficiently multiple times per day, not to exceed 2 hours in any one session with a minimum of 1 hour break in-between scanning periods
- Research and perform data entry into DCS computer databases
- Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with rules; determines and explain action necessary to achieve compliance or approval.
- Meet production goals as defined by the work unit
- Multitask in a fast paced production environment under video surveillance.
- Work in an open and diverse work environment
- Interact appropriately with a diverse customer base; treat customers with respect, courtesy, and professionalism at all times
