Job Title: Dump Truck Driver
Location: North Vancouver - Grouse Mountain
Department: Mountain Operations
Reports to: Attractions and Machine Operations Manager
Role Status: Full-time seasonal, working mid April through October 2024 with potential opportunities to move into a Winter-season position based off performance and experience (for example, Grooming, Snowmaking)

JOB SUMMARY:

Our dump truck driver operates a heavy-duty truck equipped with a hydraulic bed that is used to transport and unload materials such as dirt, gravel, or debris at construction sites or waste disposal locations. Their primary responsibility is to transport and deliver materials safely and efficiently, following proper road and vehicle safety regulations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES

  • Weekend work may be required
  • Clean driving record with valid Class Three license
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Reliable, mature, punctual, motivated, and have good teamwork skills
  • Must be able to work unsupervised
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Equipment Operator experience an asset, including Loader, Excavator, etc.
  • Cleaning and routine maintenance of Dump Truck
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs
