Description:
One of our esteemed hospitality clients in Hamilton, renowned for its exceptional service and vibrant atmosphere is currently looking for a Duty Manager to assist the team in Hamilton.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation including the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work variable shifts including days, nights, and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth and effective operation of the restaurant with a strong focus on customer service.
- Uphold terms and conditions of premises liquor and gaming licenses.
- Train staff on legal obligations regarding alcohol service to maintain the integrity of the company’s liquor license.
- Foster professional relationships with kitchen and bar staff to optimize business operations.
- Train staff in reservation procedures and menu knowledge to enhance customer experience.
- Maintain high staff morale and cooperation within the team.
- Oversee function bookings and ensure policies are communicated effectively to staff.
- Coordinate group bookings and ensure organizational efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness standards and provide feedback to staff as necessary.
