SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience as an Architect in a highly secure environment.
- In-depth knowledge of servers, storage, data centres, networking, virtualization.
- Have strong experience of working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and implement tactical solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

OUR CLIENT IS WORKING ON A HIGHLY CRITICAL PROJECT WITHIN A KEY GOVERNMENT CLIENT, AND THEY ARE ACTIVELY LOOKING FOR AN ARCHITECT TO PLAY A CRUCIAL ROLE!
The Infrastructure Architect will drive the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions that supports the client’s delivery of key capabilities.
This role requires a deep understanding of infrastructure components, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud technologies, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain comprehensive infrastructure architecture blueprints and roadmaps that align with the client’s objectives and technical requirements.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and tools, and provide recommendations for adoption.
- Lead the implementation of infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time/budget.
- Work closely with application development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure designs, configurations, and processes.
- Monitor and analyse infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to optimise system performance.
- Have a strong focus on security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the availability and reliability of critical systems and data.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
