Responsibilities:

As an Originator, you will be part of a team focusing on Direct Lending Origination across the DACH region and be responsible for:

  • Working closely with existing Direct Lending investment team to originate and execute transactions across the DACH region
  • Support the local head of origination in maintaining financial sponsor client and advisor relationships through effective communication
  • Evaluates, structures and executes investment opportunities and transactions to support execution
  • Supporting investment and structuring teams with legal documentation, processes, and procedures
  • Prepare and present investment committee memorandums to the Investment Committee
  • Review, prepare and sensitive investment case models to senior management
  • Evaluating credit risks across multiple factors such as industry trends, markets conditions and potential borrowers
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance by staying updated on relevant regulations and ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines

We are looking for:

  • A strong background in Corporate Alternative Credit transactions with a focus on Leveraged/Direct Lending
  • Proven technical analysis skills, with experience of conducting due diligence and financial modelling of Corporate Credit investments
  • Solid experience across private loan investment management gained from a credit fund, commercial or investment bank, hedge fund or mezzanine fund with knowledge of LP relations
  • Experience working with financial sponsors and debt advisors. Existing network and relationships is a plus, but not a requirement
  • Experience of producing credit investment proposals and supporting documentation for Investment Committees
  • Experience of managing risk controls within an investments environment, with good understanding around the fiduciary duty of care
  • Educated to degree level in a Finance related discipline from an accredited college or university (or equivalent) or an acceptable level of industry experience
