Responsibilities:

As a Senior Risk Analyst you will (be):

  • Set up efficient data collection processes and Quality Assurance in the GRC Tool Risk Radar across DWS´s control functions to enable appropriate Risk Reporting with limited manual intervention
  • Coordination and Manageent of the Reporting Ihput submisions
  • Development of data analysis and reporting processes and functionalities to drive synergies and efficiencies within Risk Management and related areas with regard to data management and reporting
  • Support to operationalize appropriate qualitative and quantitative non-financial risk reporting to various levels of DWS: legal entities, regions, products, DWS global
  • Drive process controls and documentation to ensure that appropriate level of documentation for the controls performed incl. data governance processes as part of the report production process exists
  • Risk data preparation, calculation and analysis for fiduciary market risk and counterparty risk processes with a focus on more complex cases
  • Preparation of standard and customized risk reports and presentations on DWS portfolios in a timely and high quality manner
  • Support the development of IT software
  • Manage (partial) projects in line with the functional requirement

We are looking for

  • University degree, preferably in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or Law or adequate background
  • Proven ability and experience to streamline and automate reports
  • Experience in project work
  • Experience defining process tools and methodology for managing comprehensive data volumes and structures
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Power Point knowledge including advanced practical VBA skills, good knowledge in Access and SQL appreciated
  • Knowledge in Business Intelligence Apps like QlikSense or Tableau
  • Strong analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative)
  • Ability to think contextual and develop fitting and effective reporting solutions
  • Strong communication and relationship skills
  • Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken skills), German is a plus
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new situations and processes
  • Interests in process, data, rules and regulations interdependencies
