We are currently seeking a Dynamics 365 System Administrator (Remote) to join our team in Canada (CA).
NTT DATA, Inc. currently seeks a Microsoft Dynamics 365 System Administrator to support our client in their implementation of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience managing Dynamics 365 applications and environments
  • Ability to logically troubleshoot technical problems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaboration, analytical, and teamwork skills. Demonstrated ability working in a collaborative and transparent environment
  • Ability to mentor team members and transfer knowledge to others
  • Must be technically and functionally oriented (good problem solving and troubleshooting skills), excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), self-motivated, self-directed, good multi-tasking skills, quality oriented, flexible, and committed to successful on-time completion of tasks

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Contribute to the technology roadmap for the organization with respect to the Dynamics ecosystem
  • Assists in the appropriate completion of all project management, change and quality control documentation using department standards
  • Documenting and cross-training team members for support continuity.
  • Propose modifications and enhancements to improve functionality or address any issues that ariseIdentify, evaluate, and document risk

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) within all aspects of Dynamics including system configuration, user requirements, and system upgrades
  • Manage functional release management and change management processes for Dynamics 365
  • Manage upgrade activations of new features within D365 settings/update support resource of changes during regression testing process
  • Plan the timing of and coordinate upgrades, patches, and enhancements for assigned applications or functional areas
  • Assist in assessment of new releases and help to coordinate regression testing processes including RSAT
  • Responsible for monitoring batch job queues for integrations and internal processes (workflow engine, posting engine, SPS EDI engine, etc.)
  • Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks
  • Monitor and communicate maintenance notifications
  • Assist to maintain user access and security role
  • Manage and coordinate with Microsoft through to resolution raised system issues
  • Participate in all phases of the Solution Delivery Life Cycle including planning, requirements definition, solution design, test execution, and implementation of Dynamics related business solutions
  • Create applicable system-related documentation, including functional design specifications, application test plans, test cases and system admin guides for Dynamics 365
  • Respond to incidents and events with a methodical approach to assess and troubleshoot all types of production (performance, access, accuracy, etc.) issues
  • Lead and/or participate in analysis sessions with functional super users/ business analyst to determine application requirements for new implementations or enhancements and facilitate workshops to demonstrate proof of concepts
