Description:
We have an opportunity for a Technical Lead to join our IT & Transformation teams. You will work alongside colleagues in IT, as well as colleagues in our Digital Channels function to provide technical support and deliver changes for YBS customer facing chat bot(s), colleague live chat and knowledge management using the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform.
You will report into an Engineering Manager within IT and collaborate closely with a wide range of YBS colleagues and work within an Agile environment. Your squad will include product owners and business analysists, as well as content and conversation designers. The IT area the Technical Engineer is within supports a wide range of our supporting business technologies and contains a lot of knowledge and experience.
This is a hybrid role; remote working and some onsite presence in our central Leeds & Bradford offices.

Were looking for a driven applicant who will take the lead with this relatively new technology, with technical experience as well as stakeholder management skills. Experience in Dynamics 365 is essential for this role though we will invest in formal and on the job training to support continued development over time.
An ideal candidate will:
- Have relevant experience to be able to take ownership of the technical aspects of this service, including the deployments into production
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues in IT and our Digital Channels and contribute as part of a high performing squad, managing issues collaboratively and delivering value to our customers.

Responsibilities:
In this role you will:
- Take the lead in systems analysis, design and development to ensure our changes adhere to application development standards and meet user requirements
- Be the point of contact for incident triage and investigation, and drive continuous improvement from a technical and process perspective
- Own the route to live for the Dynamics 365 platform, including representing changes at CAB and deployment of changes into production
- Work with the product owner and content designer to agree the delivery roadmap and set appropriate expectations around timelines. Ensure our delivery pipeline is reliable and does not introduce unnecessary risks
- Understand and align D365 to the existing IT processes and standards around change, access management and support
- Act as the escalation point for highlighting risks within D365 platform, working with the product owner and agreeing mitigating actions wherever possible with the relevant stakeholders
- Monitor progress on software deliverables, keeping stakeholders informed through regular reporting.
