We are now seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Lead for our St. John’s, NL office.
What will you be doing?
Manage and supervise personnel within discipline team; Frequent and consistent interface with departmental staff and management. Ability to convey expertise to other disciplines through clear and concise written and verbal means; Coach and support the technical development of less experienced engineers to develop overall capability; Perform final engineering review of deliverables; Ensure overall customer requirements are met in line with agreed standards and expectations; Develop and steward the budget and schedule for the discipline team; Ensure completion of discipline specific as-built documentation during closeout; Establish and maintain good communication with Client representatives
We think you should have:
Professional Engineering or Instrumentation Engineer with a minimum of 10 years’ experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience; Solid understanding of applicable standards and regulations; Considerable knowledge of a variety of standard engineering methods and techniques; Ability to act in business development role, interfacing directly with clients; Ability to guide departmental personnel in partnership with and during manager’s absence is essential; Ability to train others in the application of engineering practices as related to offshore piping and mechanical systems, including code and criteria requirements.
