Job Title: Early Careers & Skills Development Coach (Welding)

Salary: £41,997 – £44,796 depending on skills and experience

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

Essentials:

• Time Served Welder proficient on MIG/MAG processes
• IT literate
• Skilled professional with a track record of occupational competence
• Completed a modern apprenticeship in Marine Welding
• Communication & motivational skills

Desirable:

• Marine background
• Knowledge of the modern apprentice framework
• Supervisory experience
• Qualified practitioner in Education and Skills training
• A1 or L&D9 or equivalent
• L&D11 or equivalent
• SHE – health and safety background
• Have a broad, multi-functional focus, looking across the Early Careers portfolio of activity

• Enact effective programme delivery that utilises a coaching and blended learning pedagogy to, monitor, develop and assess apprentices against relevant qualification Standards/ frameworks in support of them attaining occupational competence
• Effective recording / reporting of performance data in support of delivery outstanding outcomes for learners
• Develop programme content and teaching, learning and assessment methodologies to meet individual learner and business needs
• Effective stakeholder engagement to ensure practitioner skills and programme content is current and aligned to business need
