Job Title: Early Careers & Skills Development Coach (Welding)

Salary: £41,997 – £44,796 depending on skills and experience
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
Essentials:
- Time Served Welder proficient on MIG/MAG processes
- IT literate
- Skilled professional with a track record of occupational competence
- Completed a modern apprenticeship in Marine Welding
- Communication & motivational skills
Desirable:
- Marine background
- Knowledge of the modern apprentice framework
- Supervisory experience
- Qualified practitioner in Education and Skills training
- A1 or L&D9 or equivalent
- L&D11 or equivalent
- SHE – health and safety background
- Have a broad, multi-functional focus, looking across the Early Careers portfolio of activity
Responsibilities:
- Enact effective programme delivery that utilises a coaching and blended learning pedagogy to, monitor, develop and assess apprentices against relevant qualification Standards/ frameworks in support of them attaining occupational competence
- Effective recording / reporting of performance data in support of delivery outstanding outcomes for learners
- Develop programme content and teaching, learning and assessment methodologies to meet individual learner and business needs
- Effective stakeholder engagement to ensure practitioner skills and programme content is current and aligned to business need
