ABOUT THE ROLE

Join us in Narrandera, a beautiful town in the Riverina region of southern NSW! Enjoy outdoor adventures like walking, cycling, fishing, kayaking, and swimming in picturesque waterways. Experience wildlife at the Narrandera Nature Reserve and spot koalas in their natural habitat. Take part in sports with an 18-hole golf course and well-maintained tennis courts. With a close-knit community of around 5000 people and just an hour from Wagga Wagga and Griffith, Narrandera offers small-town charm with access to urban amenities.
The Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) is responsible for working with children in their formative years to develop language and vocabulary as well as elementary numeracy and improve physical and social skills. The position introduces children to the school environment and helps children to develop key skills that provide the basis for all future learning. The ECT establishes developmentally appropriate, innovative and challenging programs for individuals and groups of children.
The Narrandera Children’s Centre operates 48 weeks a year, with a four-week closedown over the Christmas period.
Centre operation hours are from 8:00am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
