JOB DESCRIPTION

Early Years Teacher - Solihull
Aspire People are currently looking for Early Years Teachers for primary schools based in Solihull and surrounding areas.

Your responsibilities as an Early Years Teacher will include:

  • Design and implement a well-structured curriculum that aligns with the Early Years Foundation Stage (Framework)
  • Create an engaging and supportive learning environment that fosters children’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development
  • Plan, develop and deliver lessons and activities to meet the diverse needs of children
  • Monitor and assess children’s progress
  • Collaborate with parents, guardians and fellow educators in the children’s learning journey
  • Promote positive behaviour management techniques and establish clear boundaries

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or (ECT) and a relevant degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with children aged 3 to 5, within a school or early years setting.
  • Thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and its application in planning, teaching, and assessment.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Ability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to work with children (Can obtain one with Aspire People if you do not have a DBS on the update service)
  • Up to date Safeguarding Training (You can undertake a free course with Aspire People if you have not got a safeguarding certificate dated within the last 12 months)
