Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a Ecommerce Executive to join our E-commerce department on a Full time, permanent basis. The role will be based at our Sydney office, with a hybrid element for those looking for more flexibility.
Build a sense of ‘Team Operations’ across all existing ‘vertical’ teams.
Communicate across organisational boundaries - from engineers through to senior managers. ➡️Drive efficiencies through smarter working and innovation.Provide high-quality 2nd and 3rd line support for core business systems across the globe (including key revenue-generating systems) to agreed service levels, ensuring high levels of availability are maintained. This includes the need to regularly make autonomous decisions relating to the support of global business applications without line management supervision.
- ✅Ensure that all Data Protection Principles, Payment Card Industry (PCI) requirements and Data Security Standards are complied with within the operations of the business applications.Ensure that appropriate levels of IT technical support are provided to the business in line with our global support and service commitments.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
- Working knowledge of CMS systems or the ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly
- Hands on experience of updating and optimising websites
- Good use of Excel to create and update reports and work with data to draw insight from.
- Be an excellent communicator and influencer.
- Passionate and driven individual, who can demonstrate their enthusiasm for digital.
- Ability to deliver clear training on ecommerce processed and systems
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multi task and hit the ground running within a hand on role.
