We are a growing brand with a big mission, and this is an exciting position within our marketing team. The eCommerce Optimisation Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the development of our web presence, ensuring websites run smoothly and achieve their commercial goals. This role reports to the eCommerce Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our eCommerce business including onsite product management, implementing seasonal range launches, and aligning all touchpoints on the digital journey.
While previous experience in ecommerce and UX are an advantage, this role will be highly fulfilling for individuals who demonstrate transferable skills and want to be part of an ambitious team doing rad things on a global scale from Wānaka.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Detail orientated – proud of your work
  • Multi-channel inventory management
  • Experience in UX or conversion rate optimisation preferred
  • Analytical skills, with an ability to distil data into actionable insights
  • Strong focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Technical – proficient in Excel, CMS (Shopify), CRM, NetSuite or similar ERP
  • Valid New Zealand work visa - unfortunately we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of our five websites:
  • Fixing bugs and general website issues
  • Managing Shopify > warehouse integration
  • Uploading new creative campaign assets
  • Working closely with the inventory planner, monitor three global inventory locations:
  • Merchandising in line with seasonal plans
  • Optimising stock for promotions
  • Virtual merchandising
  • Work across Shopify, NetSuite, and supporting software
  • Analyse product performance metrics: regularly review key performance indicators including rate of sale, broken sizes, product searches, views, cart abandonment rates, and conversion rates to identify pain points and areas for improvement.Support key projects including user testing and A/B testing to develop hypotheses.
