Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
Panagora Group seeks a short-term technical consultant to serve as an Editor/Technical Writer for the performance evaluation of the ReachHealth Activity. S/He will lead the evaluation team in drafting, editing, and reviewing deliverables, including reports and presentation materials. The evaluation is expected to be carried out between May and October 2024. The position will report to PIMMELA’s Senior M&E Director and will work closely with the performance evaluation team and PIMMELA’s Health Data Management Specialist.
REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline preferably with a health focus (e.g., public health , economics, public policy, development studies, social sciences)
- At least eight years of experience in technical writing specifically in research, and/or monitoring and evaluation
- Previous experience in development work and with donors, specifically USAID
- Knowledge of USAID guidance on preparing evaluations reports and adhering to evaluation report criteria and checklist
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in English
- Familiarity with USAID health FP/ARH programs/projects/activities is desirable
- Familiarity with health programs and services in the Philippines

Responsibilities:
- Participate in evaluation team planning meetings between the evaluation team and PIMMELA
- Provide technical input on the outline and review and edit the following deliverables:
o Evaluation design report
o Desk review findings report and presentation
o Final evaluation protocols document
o Preliminary findings presentation
o Draft evaluation report
- Develop the abstract and executive summary of the evaluation report.
- Support the team in integrating feedback from USAID and finalizing the evaluation report.
- Ensure the Final Report is compliant with Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act
