Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
The primary purpose of the Education Officer role is to facilitate the management and implementation of The RACP Accreditation standards and training program accreditation criteria and provide high level administrative support for the day-to-day operations of Training Accreditation Services (Basic Training).
Please note: This is a fixed-term full time role until December 2024.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate administration in relation to accreditation of specific training programs to support the day-to-day operations within the unit including organising site visits and accreditation reviews of training settings
- High-level secretariat services to College Committees and working groups.
- Provide advice regarding accreditation of training programs and requirements to ensure continuous support for daily enquiries received from training providers, trainees, supervisors, and Directors of Physician Education.
- Provide accreditation administration advice, advocate College policy, procedures, and strategies to ensure adherence by Fellows, committees, and relevant training settings.
- Work with committees to ensure appropriate governance and support for members including succession plans are considered to ensure the committees effectively perform their duties.
- Facilitate consultation and communication so that accurate and reliable information is available for committees and all College units.
- Contribute to the development of effective working relationships with key stakeholders
- Contribute to and participate in projects as required including education program development and implementation, process improvement and policy development
