Description:
OUR CLIENT IS A WELL-ESTABLISHED MNC, MARKET LEADER IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL INDUSTRY. THEY ARE LOOKING FOR AN EHS OFFICER TO ASSIST THEIR TEAM FOR THE NEXT PHASE OF THEIR BUSINESS. THEY ARE LOCATED IN THE WEST – EASILY ACCESSIBLE.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the company’s Operation Safety initiatives, conducting regular safety walks and promptly addressing any identified hazards
- Advice/guide departments in the implementation of EHS Management Solutions to ensure compliance with the company’s EHS standards.
- Develop/Implement the company’s EHS system and Risk Assessment plans for both operational/non-operational areas
- Prepare/Circulate weekly EHS topics to enhance employee awareness of safety protocols
- Provide training and supervision to the company’s Emergency Response Team, focusing on first-aid, fire-fighting and other procedures
- Organize/Hold campaigns and training courses to continually reinforce EHS awareness among the company’s employees
- Conduct routine assessments of EHS practices,and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Promptly alert the relevant Managers about any machinery/equipment that pose potential risks to the various employees’ well-being
- Assess health hazards that may affect employee safety, and prioritize the necessary actions based on severity
Provide support in the implementation of EHS policies/procedures across the companyAll other adhoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Min Diploma in relevant fields of Engineering, or Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health
- Min 2 years of relevant working experience
- Attended and possess WSH Coordinator Course (Level B) certification
