Description:
What you will do:
- Apply the Management of Change Program in new process (defined by supervisor), ensuring compliance of all actions as results of the evaluation.
- Support on the compliance of the CTPAT, OEA, JCMS, ISO 14001, 45001, FM Global and others.
- Participate in risk management, which includes the identification of failure modes, hazards and environmental aspects, their respective assessment and the definition and implementation of controls.
- Perform investigation incidents and nonconformity to determine root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Support in external compliance audits.
- Perform incidents investigations with area responsible.
- Report investigations in EHSIS platform.
- Verify unsafe conditions and unsafe actions in production areas.
- Participate in the EHS committees.
- Conduct monthly 5’s audits to assigned areas.
- Hot work authorization and training
- Provide required support to EHS Manager as needed.
- Participate in the EHS reviews for the corporate.
- Ensure de execution of the Safety Program training and the EHS Management System
- Active participation in plant programs such as SafeTrack observations, suggestion box, Employee Idea System and LPA audits.
How you Will do it:
- Education: Environmental & Safety engineering or similar degree.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience as EHS Technician or similar position.
- Knowledge: Risk management, Mexican laws and regulations (Federal, State and Local) in Environmental & Occupational, Health and Safety matters, waste management and reduction techniques, ISO 14001 – 45001, CTPAT, OEA,
- Management of Change, job safety analysis, problem solving and incident investigation methods, environmental management systems, occupational health, and safety management systems, MS Office.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
- Teamwork
- Self-management
- Leadership thinking skills (problem solving and decision making), proactivity, planning and organizing.
- Language: 80 % Bilingual.
