EHV/HV Quality Cage Tester

EXPECTATIONS:

• Abide by all rules and procedures.

• Report all safety incidents or issues immediately.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Any/All tasks assigned by supervisor.

SPECIFIC SKILLS/TRAINING REQUIRED

• Industrial manufacturing experience.
• On shop floor basic computer training including but not limited to Maximo, SAP, DCS, MDC
• Ability to read and follow SOP’s, TI’s, CDA’s, FOD, QUA’s, DOD’s industry specifications, and customer specifications as resource documents
• Fork lift Training
• Ability to use and troubleshoot electronic, measuring equipment for conductor resistance measurement
• Ability to successfully complete a Core skills training including but not limited to Basic Electrical Principles and Safety, Basic Cable Construction
• Mathematical ability to understand decimals, percentages, multiplying, addition, and subtraction.

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma/GED

• Regular and predictable attendance throughout the shift is an essential function of this position.
• Inspects/ perform tests on cable for conductor resistance, diameter, and cable construction 69Kv up to 525Kv.
• Ability to enter data into data base program or appropriate forms.
• Communicate with departments about quality concerns.
