Description:

The EIB, the European Union’s bank, is seeking to recruit for Finance Directorate (FI) – Coordination Division (COOR) - Transversal Processes and Partnerships Unit (TPP) & Compliance and Conduct BBP Unit (CCB), at its headquarters in Luxembourg: TRAINEE
Duration: 5 months (fixed start date: 01st September/October 2024)
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
- Final year of studies or University degree in Law, Finance, Business, Computer Science or related disciplines;
- Good understanding of EU inter-institutional framework
- Good understanding of compliance and control functions in financial institutions;
- Good understanding of project management principles;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools;
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and/or French, and a solid understanding of the other. Knowledge of other EU language will be considered as an advantage.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the team of the Transversal Processes and Partnerships Unit, you will provide assistance in the day to day coordination of Partnerships activities and maintenance of related databases. You will also participate actively in projects to streamline and digitalize Partnerships related activities.
Supporting the team of the Compliance, Conduct and BBP Unit, you will provide assistance on projects related to the implementation of Market Abuse and MiFID requirements as well as contributing to daily processes on monitoring tasks.
While the tasks require no specific previous knowledge of Finance Directorate activities, you will acquire a good overview of the activities and control environment of the Directorate.
