Description:
JOB OVERVIEW:
EKG Technicians are responsible for doing electrocardiograms on both inpatients and outpatients scheduled within the department.
They consider the physical and physiological needs of every patient, and develop and maintain positive interpersonal relations with other department personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Completion of EKG Technician Certification Course/Program
Preferred:
- At least six months of EKG work experience
SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS:
- Shift working varies, 7:00 5:00pm, depending on the coverage needed
- Varied weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- PD
Responsibilities:
- Performs EKGs on inpatients and outpatients
