JOB TITLE: EL1 RECRUITMENT AND WELLBEING OFFICER (PART-TIME, 0.6 FTE) - 12-MONTH CONTRACT
Location: Sydney CBD, Federal Government
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as an EL1 Recruitment and Wellbeing Officer on a part-time basis. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the recruitment and wellbeing initiatives within a Federal Government agency located in Sydney CBD. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the agency’s recruitment efforts while also championing employee wellbeing programs.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in recruitment, preferably within Federal Government.
- Sound knowledge of recruitment processes, including sourcing strategies and candidate assessment techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take initiative.
- Knowledge of wellbeing principles and experience implementing wellbeing initiatives is desirable.
- Payroll and WHS experience.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field are highly regarded
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including job advertising, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and facilitating the selection process.
- Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent to the agency.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to hiring managers on recruitment policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage WHS and implement new procedures and policies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and deliver employee wellbeing programs and initiatives.
- Conduct regular assessments of employee wellbeing and satisfaction to identify areas for improvement.
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries related to recruitment and wellbeing matters.
- Act as backup for Payroll
