Responsibilities:

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build, Maintain and Secure Elastic Stack Solutions
  • Build and maintain the automation to provision, maintain, and monitor all aspects of the ELK stack via infrastructure as code.
  • Support cross functional teams with issues related to Business Monitoring reports in Elastic Stack
  • Performance tuning for ELK Cluster
  • Write complex Lucene queries with joins that deals with a large amount of data
  • Monitoring ELK Stack, manage and review logs
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to analyze requirements, clarify design dependencies, create test plans, support functional and non-functional activities;
  • Create ETL pipelines using Logstash or Elasticsearch REST API with Java/Python, build dashboards suing API’s that leverages Elasticsearch, create alerts via Kibana
  • Participate in post-mortem and root cause analysis
  • Continually challenge what exists and explore what should be changed to best meet evolving client needs
  • Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support an ELK solution
  • Work with architect and stakeholders to propose new integration tools for ingesting transformed data from CICD platform into Elastic stack.
  • Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • Experience with multi-node clustering, architecture, development, implementation, and health monitoring of the indexes.
  • 5+ years of Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Beats, Kibana, and X-pack) experience in production including all features like canvas, machine-learning, ILM, ingest pipeline …
  • 5+ Experience in a Linux/Unix environment using predominantly Shell for Scripting
  • 5+ Experience with Kubernetes/Docker, docker-compose
  • Knowledge of Elasticsearch Management
  • Knowledge of reindexing and data mappings
  • Experience with various Logstash plugins for data processing
  • Experience with designing Kafka consumers, producers and streams
  • Proficient in Elasticsearch aggregations, data engineering,
  • Able to write complex T-SQL, PL-SQL queries for data analysis
  • Proficient in Kibana reporting including enhanced dashboard implementation & alerting
  • Recent project experience using Elastic Search for ETL processing of data
  • Good communication skill and should be able to articulate with business users
