(Electric) Certification Engineer – Electrical Architect

For the division Engineering at Adient Aerospace in Kaiserslautern, we are looking for a personally and professionally convincing candidate for the Kaiserslautern site for a limited period of 12 months as

YOUR QUALIFICATION

• University Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent education and experience
• Profound knowledge of airworthiness regulations and requirements
• A minimum of 5 years or more of direct experience.
• Competencies of Project Management, problem solving/analysis, communication proficiency and leadership
• Experience in working at a high pace with change settings; able to provide direction and pivot where needed whilst facing high levels of ambiguity
• Capability of performing negotiations in English
• Applicants need a work permit in the European Union

• The Electrical Certification Engineer substantiates and verifies that the development of the electrical equipment installed in the seats and furnitures are in accordance with all relevant certification requirements and meets the customers specification
• Capability to analyze the LRU (Line Replaceable Units) specifications, the OEM -, Customer- and Regulatory requirements and definition of their justification for the related projects
• Performing DFMEAs as well as the definition of the testing requirements and the equipment qualification to be fulfilled by the suppliers of the electrical components
• Technical Management of the Electrical Equipment Suppliers including their Equipment related certification documents review and approval
• Capability of Software Validation (e. g. for Seat Actuation Systems)
• Capability to write and/or check seat relevant electrical certification documents like Acceptance Test Plan & Report, Grounding and Bonding calculations, Electrical Load Analysis, Safety System Assessment / Safety Analysis and furthermor
