Job Description
Reporting to the production foreman, you will be one of two Electrical Testers within a larger team of production workers at our Hamilton site, responsible for manufacturing and assembling Air Handling Units. Your tasks will include:
- Assemble and construct electrical control assemblies, including fitting control boxes and wiring as per schematics.
- Inspect and certify units to meet quality standards, recording test results in a traceable format.
- Inspect defective units and perform site-wide testing and tagging of electrical power cables.
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of plant equipment.
- Work flexibly across all production areas to provide necessary coverage.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Hold a valid NZ EST (Electrical Service Technician) license
- Understanding of electrical and workplace safe work practices
- 3 years work experience as an Electrical Tester
- 1 – 3 years in manufacturing industry
