QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Electrical license
  • Experience in electrical engineering for automation, preferably in fast moving industries
  • Practical knowledge of variable speed drives, timing systems, and control logic
  • Proficient in electrical design software and tools, with a solid understanding of HMI, SCADA, and PLC systems
  • Background in the practical application of electrical engineering principles

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, installation, and maintenance of automation and control systems to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs to minimise downtime and optimise equipment performance.
  • Troubleshoot automated equipment across the site, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations for all electrical components and systems.
  • Integrate control systems using various automation components to enhance agricultural operations.
  • Collaborate with third-party software engineers for smooth integration between hardware and control software.
  • Implement weighbridge automation and oversee installation of WiFi and CCTV solutions.
  • Provide training for users and maintenance teams on electrical and automation systems.
