QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Electrical license
- Experience in electrical engineering for automation, preferably in fast moving industries
- Practical knowledge of variable speed drives, timing systems, and control logic
- Proficient in electrical design software and tools, with a solid understanding of HMI, SCADA, and PLC systems
- Background in the practical application of electrical engineering principles
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, installation, and maintenance of automation and control systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement maintenance programs to minimise downtime and optimise equipment performance.
- Troubleshoot automated equipment across the site, ensuring seamless operations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations for all electrical components and systems.
- Integrate control systems using various automation components to enhance agricultural operations.
- Collaborate with third-party software engineers for smooth integration between hardware and control software.
- Implement weighbridge automation and oversee installation of WiFi and CCTV solutions.
- Provide training for users and maintenance teams on electrical and automation systems.
