Description:
Key requirements:
- Recognised apprenticeship in Electrical / Control / Instrumentation Engineering (min HNC)
- Min of 5 years’ experience in an E&I Maintenance role
- Experienced gained in a med- heavy industrial environment
- Experience of working with boilers, pumps and associated process equipment
- Knowledge/experience of process plants, control loops, SCADA systems
- Ability to interpret electrical distribution and control systems including P&IDs
- Excellent verbal, written and problem-solving skills
- Able to prepare technical reports and plan work
- IT literate
- Full UK Driving Licence and flexibility to travel to other site
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all E&I equipment is effectively maintained to ensure maximum plant reliability
- Inspection, maintenance and calibration of fixed and mobile equipment
- Installation and commissioning activities
- Attend breakdowns and perform planned and pro-active maintenance
- Support upgrade and improvement projects
- Loop checking and interpretation of technical drawings
- Complete inspection reports
- Liaise with equipment suppliers and carry out purchasing
